Тренировочный вариант №9 предназначен для подготовки учащихся 6 класса к ВПР 2027 по английскому языку. Работа включает четыре задания по аудированию, чтению, грамматике и письменной речи.

По уровню сложности этот вариант соответствует вариантам №4–8. В аудировании необходимо различать уже произошедшие события и изменившиеся планы, в чтении — находить точную информацию среди близких вариантов ответа, а в грамматике — учитывать контекст и временные указатели.

На выполнение всей работы рекомендуется отвести не более 45 минут. Сначала выполните задания самостоятельно, а затем проверьте ответы и прочитайте объяснения.

The history of libraries

Libraries have existed for thousands of years. Although modern libraries contain printed books, computers and other resources, the earliest libraries were very different.

Some of the first known libraries appeared in ancient Mesopotamia. Instead of paper books, they contained clay tablets. People wrote on the soft clay and then allowed the tablets to dry. Many of these texts recorded laws, business information and important events.

Later, libraries became important in ancient Greece and Rome. Wealthy people sometimes had private collections of books, while some cities created libraries that could be used by scholars. Books were copied by hand, so producing a new copy could take a long time.

During the Middle Ages, many books in Europe were kept in monasteries. Monks copied texts carefully by hand. Because books required so much time and work to produce, they were expensive and not available to most people.

The invention of printing in Europe during the fifteenth century changed this situation. Books could be produced much faster and in larger numbers. As books became cheaper, more schools, universities and towns began to create libraries.

In the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, public libraries became common in many countries. People could borrow books instead of buying them, which gave more readers access to information and literature.

Today, libraries continue to change. Many offer computers, electronic books, study areas and educational activities. Some people use digital libraries without even visiting a building, but traditional printed books are still an important part of most libraries.

Hello, Mum! It’s Ben. I’m having a great weekend at Aunt Kate’s house. My cousin Sam is staying here too, so we have been doing lots of things together.

Yesterday we visited an old castle outside the town. I had never been there before, although Sam had visited it twice with his parents. We climbed one of the towers and had a great view of the countryside.

In the afternoon, we went on a boat trip across the lake. It was warm when we started, but later it became colder and windy. Luckily, we had jackets with us. I still really enjoyed the trip because we saw some beautiful birds near the islands.

We planned to go cycling tomorrow morning, but Sam’s bicycle has a problem with its brakes. Instead, Aunt Kate is taking us to the sports centre to play badminton.

Before I go home tomorrow evening, I want to visit the little shop near the station. My friend Tom has a birthday next week, and I want to buy him a small souvenir.

В заданиях 1–3 участник получает по 1 баллу за каждый правильный ответ. Максимальный результат за каждое из заданий 1–3 — 5 баллов.

Задание 4 оценивается по четырём критериям:

решение коммуникативной задачи — до 3 баллов;
организация текста — до 2 баллов;
лексико-грамматическое оформление текста — до 3 баллов;
орфография и пунктуация — до 2 баллов.

Требуемый объём электронного письма — 60–70 слов. Допустимый объём с учётом установленного отклонения составляет 54–77 слов. Если объём письма менее 54 слов, ответ оценивается в 0 баллов по всем критериям. Если в письме более 77 слов, проверяются только первые 70 слов.

Максимальный первичный балл за всю работу — 25.
