Тренировочный вариант №10 предназначен для подготовки учащихся 7 класса к ВПР 2027 по английскому языку. Работа включает четыре задания по аудированию, чтению, грамматике и письменной речи.

Вариант имеет слегка повышенный уровень сложности. В аудировании необходимо внимательно следить за изменением первоначального плана и условиями бронирования, в чтении — находить точную информацию среди близких по смыслу вариантов ответа, а в грамматике — учитывать контекст и временные указатели.

На выполнение всей работы рекомендуется отвести не более 45 минут. Сначала выполните задания самостоятельно, а затем проверьте ответы и прочитайте объяснения.

The history of lighthouses

For thousands of years, sailors have needed help finding safe routes along dangerous coasts. Before modern navigation systems existed, lighthouses played an especially important role in guiding ships at night and in bad weather.

One of the most famous ancient lighthouses was built at Alexandria in Egypt more than two thousand years ago. It stood on the island of Pharos and was one of the tallest buildings of the ancient world. A fire at the top helped sailors see the entrance to the harbour.

Early lighthouses were usually built in places where ships faced danger from rocks, narrow channels or difficult coastlines. Their lights came from fires, candles or oil lamps. Keeping them burning required a lot of work, especially during storms.

For centuries, lighthouse keepers lived in or near the towers. Their job included cleaning the lamps, carrying fuel and making sure the light worked throughout the night. In isolated areas, keepers sometimes lived far from towns and could spend long periods with little contact with other people.

During the nineteenth century, lighthouse technology improved. Special lenses made lights brighter and allowed them to be seen from greater distances. Different lighthouses also began using different patterns of flashes so that sailors could identify where they were.

Later, electricity replaced oil and other fuels in many lighthouses. Automatic systems also reduced the need for keepers to stay in the towers permanently.

Today, ships use GPS, radar and electronic navigation systems, but many lighthouses are still active. They provide an additional safety system and remain useful if electronic equipment fails. Some old lighthouses have also become museums or tourist attractions.

В заданиях 1–3 участник получает по 1 баллу за каждый правильный ответ. Максимальный результат за каждое из заданий 1–3 — 5 баллов.

Задание 4 оценивается по четырём критериям:

решение коммуникативной задачи — до 3 баллов;
организация текста — до 2 баллов;
лексико-грамматическое оформление текста — до 3 баллов;
орфография и пунктуация — до 2 баллов.

Требуемый объём электронного письма — 80–90 слов. Если объём письма менее 72 слов, ответ оценивается в 0 баллов по всем критериям. Если объём превышает 99 слов, проверяются только первые 90 слов.

Максимальный первичный балл за всю работу — 25.
